Alumni-Owned Businesses Spotlight: Kicksite

Jason Neef, Class of 1993

Major: Communications

Business: in Overland Park, Kan.

“I played high school basketball and was recruited by Coach Paul DeNoble to play basketball at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录. Playing for Coach DeNoble helped develop my lifelong passion for health and wellness. After graduating from 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, I had a career spanning 25 years with a pharmaceutical company. I played conventional sports in high school and college and didn't have the opportunity to do martial arts, but I always admired martial artists and saw that as something I wanted to do. I became active in Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu and earned my black belt.

“In 2007, there was an opportunity for me to join in some martial arts software that was being developed. I was one of the few martial arts students utilizing it and was invited to participate in this startup moment. In 2008, the opportunity presented itself to be more than just someone who participated, but someone who actually owned and ran it. And that’s where I’m at today, CEO of Kicksite. Kicksite, in a nutshell, is a software product that makes the lives of martial arts school owners easier. And we do that by giving them a tool that allows them to keep track of their members and communicate with them and their prospects. In addition, we assist with their online presence, the quality of their training, and live support. We've had 13 years of success with over 1,500 clients in over 24 countries. My lasting impression of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 is of admiration. From playing for Coach DeNoble, my teammates, professors who cared, and working at the Schuldes Sports Center, I will always have fond memories of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录.”
