Employees will be provided Christmas Eve thru New Year’s Day off as paid holidays.

  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day**
  • Thanksgiving Day/Day After Thanksgiving Day

See the current holiday schedule for specific dates.

Full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay when they work – or are on approved vacation, paid time off (PTO) or short-term disability leave – the day before or after a scheduled holiday.

Nonexempt (hourly) employees who are required to work on a regular holiday will be paid time-and-one-half for all hours worked on the holiday. They will also be paid for the holiday, for a combined total of 2.5 times their hourly rate of pay.

**Note: When classes begin on the Tuesday after Labor Day and employees are scheduled to work on Labor Day, the college may defer the Labor Day holiday to a specific day during the Christmas/New Year’s holiday season.

***Note: Should the day before Christmas Eve be a business day, that day will be provided as an additional holiday.
