What鈥檚 New on Campus This Year

Every year brings exciting changes to the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 campus. Here are this year’s most notable ones.

New majors, et al.
Seven new majors are now available at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录: health and human performance, sports management, engineering physics, management, finance, marketing and supply chain management. The college is also offering five new minors: robotics, sustainability, digital marketing, project management and data analytics.

Students will also be able to opt for new concentrations in game development within the computer science major and pre-music therapy within the music major. There is also a new certificate available in arts management.

These expanded offerings are in high-growth areas in which employers are currently searching for qualified employees. They also provide diverse and innovative learning opportunities for all students.

Two new sports
Coming for the 2025-26 academic year: and . The men’s hockey team will compete as an intercollegiate club sport, with games played from late September into February. 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 will be a member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey League.

STUNT is an emerging NCAA team sport that’s sort of a melding of gymnastics and cheerleading, with competitions in February and March. 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 will be the first Wisconsin school to offer it.

New construction
Construction is underway to create a new home for the . The new, 45,000-square-foot building will be on the site previously occupied by the Pennings Activity Center, on the corner of Reid and Third Streets.

In addition to classroom space, the new building will provide space for executive education and conferences, and will include a connecting terrace for gatherings along the Fox River. It’s targeted to open in time for fall classes in 2025.

Extended dining hours
Starting this fall, Ruth’s Marketplace will be extending its dinner service to 8 p.m. to better support students involved in athletics practices and fine arts rehearsals. Ruth’s will also expand its weekend service from brunch only to breakfast, lunch and dinner, operating from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition, Dale’s will be open from 8 p.m. to midnight so students can use it as a study lounge or gathering space.

My老澳门六合彩开奖记录
This is the second year 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 is using the online platform my老澳门六合彩开奖记录, powered by CampusGroups. My老澳门六合彩开奖记录 helps connect students to our almost 100 registered student organizations. We also use it as our online event calendar. As of Aug. 5, there were more than 300 events registered on my老澳门六合彩开奖记录, with more to come as we get closer to the start of the academic year.

This year, we’ll be using my老澳门六合彩开奖记录 to award students digital badges for some of the things they may do or attend. For example, if a student participates in Emerging Leaders, Men of Distinction, STAR or TRIPS, they’ll earn a Beginner Leadership Badge. Once they earn a certain combination or number of badges as first-year students, they’ll receive a Fantastic First Year badge at the end of the year. As of now, that badge will be digital, but we hope to provide an actual badge to wear at Commencement when they’re seniors.

My老澳门六合彩开奖记录 also offers the ability to export a cocurricular transcript that includes all the organizations to which a student belongs, the events they checked into on my老澳门六合彩开奖记录 and any badges earned. The Center for Student Engagement is working in partnership with Academic Advising and Career Development to be able to utilize this information when writing resumes and cover letters.

More health care accessibility
A nurse practitioner will now be on campus Monday through Friday at the Health & Wellness Center, formerly called Health & Wellness Services. Students will be able to visit the nurse practitioner as many times as needed with no additional charge; the student health fee covers the cost. Students can schedule a visit at the Health & Wellness Center, which operates in partnership with Prevea Health, at .

Campus Ministry changes
The former Emmaus Center merged with Campus Ministry, which is part of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 Parish. Campus Ministry now will be leading Bible studies, retreats, Encounter (faith learning and exploration), Navigate (vocation exploration) and Thin Place (Protestant worship).

Division of Mission and Heritage revived
老澳门六合彩开奖记录 once again has a Division of Mission and Heritage. While the work of promoting 老澳门六合彩开奖记录’s mission and heritage has always been around in some form, the revived division will allow the college to more clearly communicate what it means to be Norbertine, and renew its commitment to Catholic, Norbertine and liberal arts values.

Mulva Cultural Center
While not a new offering by St. Norbert, students will be able to take advantage of the new , which sits across the Fox River in downtown De Pere. The 75,000-square-foot facility, which opened in December 2023, showcases world-renowned arts and exhibits that travel around the globe, namely those focused on history and culture.
