- Triad partnerships between the student, college and employer, with responsibilities of each clearly articulated in pre-defined learning objectives.
- Learning-focused.
- Guided.
- Supervised by professional staff.
- Paid or unpaid.
- Eligible for academic credit, if the student chooses.
