This course builds upon the foundation of BUAD 232, covering additional areas of the HR function, including HR technology, employment law, union representation and collective bargaining, employee relations, safety and health, and international HR. In addition, students will explore in greater depth a particular HR activity, such as people analytics or total compensation. Prerequisite: BUAD 232; corequisites: BUAD 228 and BUAD 230.
