Living on campus

When you鈥檙e here, you鈥檙e home

The true college experience doesn’t happen just in the classroom. It happens on your way to Ruth’s Marketplace with your friends. It happens during a study session with your floormates.

It happens while you’re up late having a heart-to-heart with your roommate. It’s what happens when you live on campus. That’s why St. Norbert offers a four-year residential college experience.

Our residential community

Residential Education & Housing provides many types of housing to meet student needs, including co-ed halls, suite-style living arrangements, apartments, townhouses and houses. We even have halls dedicated to community-service initiativesthe Honors Programresidential themed communities and wellness.

When you first enroll at 老澳门六合彩开奖记录, you'll be assigned to one of our first-year student housing options. As you progress through your four years here, you'll have increasingly independent options, such as townhouses, apartments or college-owned houses.

Resident assistants and area coordinators

Live-in resident assistants (RAs) and area coordinators are available 24/7 to help manage our residential communities. They help smooth the transition to college, offer engaging in-hall programs, and commit themselves to making your campus living experience comfortable, enjoyable and safe.

You’ll live in a residence hall and have a full campus meal plan, so you’re free to focus on settling in. Explore our halls and check out what to bring to put your stamp on your space. First-year residence halls are co-educational and you’ll have a roommate (who you can often pair with in advance) or share a suite with three others.

Every hall has programming activities coordinated by resident assistants. There are opportunities to get involved in planning activities or be a Residence Hall Association rep, both great ways to get to know people. Some halls are popular with certain majors: education majors like Sensenbrenner because the Children’s Center is right in the building, and Bergstrom is home to students in the Honors Program.

There’s also an option in your first year on to live in a community focused on wellness, where residents attend monthly programs on topics like meditation, personal finance skills and stress management, and set their own wellness goals.

Starting your second year, you have a wider range of options for student housing. Most students apply in March for the following academic year’s housing.

The majority of sophomores still live in residence halls, but there’s also the option to apply for a single room in Burke Hall.

Groups of eight sophomores can apply starting in early December to share suites in Michels Hall while completing an academic year of service-learning together off campus. The Michels Hall Service Program is a great option for students who’d like to learn about social justice issues and build intentional, meaningful relationships with their roommates and the local community.

You can now apply for many more styles of student housing, including:

  • College houses: Shared houses in De Pere for groups of up to eight, close to campus but with community attractions nearby.
  • Townhouses: Three-bedroom houses for groups of six in the Manion Townhouse Village overlooking the Fox River.
  • Themed communitiesGroups of third- and fourth-year students who share academic or co-curricular interests can apply to live together while involved in service in the Green Bay community.
  • Single rooms in shared apartments (Gries Hall) or in small residence halls for females (Doksany Hall) or males (Roggenburg Hall).
  • Two-person suites with private bathrooms, including some with wheelchair access to meet student accommodations, in St. Joseph Hall, renovated from the old Norbertine Priory.
