Parking and transportation

Getting around campus and beyond

All students, including first-year students, may bring a vehicle to campus. If you choose to bring a vehicle, it needs to be registered annually through the parking office.

All student vehicles must be registered annually and display a valid parking permit in the lower left corner of the rear windshield. Parking permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified when registration is open through your ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ email address, typically in late July or early August.

To register your vehicle, you’ll need to know the following vehicle information:

  • Make (Ford, Toyota, etc.)
  • Model (Explorer, Corolla, etc.)
  • Color
  • License-plate number
  • State in which the license plate was issued

See our campus parking lot map to find out where on campus you can park.

Accessible parking

Contact the parking office if you need a temporary disabled parking identification tag to use the appropriately marked spaces.

Once you’re on campus, you’ll find you can easily get to most places you need to go by bike, scooter, skateboard or by foot. It’s healthy, cheap and reliable transportation – with no permit required! The only thing we do require is that your bike or scooter be securely locked to a bicycle rack when not in use.

Our campus shuttle service runs each day from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. when classes are in session. The safety shuttle will pick up and drop off students at any building or parking lot on campus.

To request the shuttle, call 920-422-RIDE.

If you ever feel unsafe and require an escort outside of shuttle hours, call Campus Safety at 920-403-3260 or request a ride through the Alertus mobile app.

The  transit system provides transportation service to get you to and from  around De Pere and Green Bay.
