This course is intended to be a transition to abstract mathematics. Topics include logic, the axiomatic method and the nature of proof, sets, relations, functions and 1-1 correspondences, countability, and selected topics in discrete mathematics. Prerequisites: CSCI 110 (or instructor鈥檚 consent), MATH 132 and MATH 203.
