On-Campus Employment Opportunities
We know that deciding whether or not to work during the semester can be difficult. You have classes and coursework and student organizations to focus on. Fitting in one more thing can be a challenge. But on-campus employment makes it easy – and there are a ton of to choose from!
Employment Process
All open student on-campus positions are posted online through Workday. You must be an enrolled 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 student to apply for and be hired for these positions.
Applying

- Logging into Workday requires multi-factor authentication (MFA), a cybersecurity best practice that helps 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 protect your information from unauthorized access. Workday MFA requires the Okta Verify app. Download the free app to your smartphone from or the . Those without smartphones should contact ITS at servicedesk@snc.edu for assistance.
- Once in Workday, Click on “View All Apps.” Then, click on the “Career” icon, and “Find Student Jobs” to search for on-campus jobs.
- Click on the job title to view the job description, and hit “Apply” to begin the job application process (a resume is recommended). Select “Files” to upload your resume.
- After submitting applications, you can see the status of your submission in the Workday Career app (click “View,” then “My Applications”). The status could be Applied, Offer or Not Selected.
Accepting a Job Offer
- If you are offered a position, you will receive an offer letter in your Workday inbox. The letter will include your job title, wage rate and anticipated start date. You will need to accept the offer letter in order to move the process forward.
- Once hired into a position, you will need to complete an I-9 form. Section 1 of the I-9 is completed online through Workday, but Section 2 must be completed in person in the Office of Career & Professional Development (Todd Wehr Hall Suite 215) with original documents that prove your identity and eligibility to work. A full list of can be found on the I-9. The college is required to see original documents; photocopies will not be accepted. You will not be able to submit time or be paid until this form is submitted, so please complete this within three business days after receiving the notification/task in your Workday inbox. Note: Do not start working until the I-9 form is complete.
- Once your hire is complete, a number of onboarding tasks will appear in your Workday inbox.

Student Employment Wage Tiers
The wage plan listed below establishes tiers of jobs for student positions, based on factors including but not limited to level of responsibility, supervision of others, risk and autonomy. Questions concerning the appropriate level for a given job should be directed to the Office of Student Employment. The current campus minimum is $10 per hour.
Tier 1: $10-$10.99
Tier 2: $11-$11.99
Tier 3: $12-$12.99
Tier 4: $13-$13.99
Changes to wage tiers and wage increases are only authorized with approval from the VP of Finance.
