April Beiswenger is an associate professor of theatre studies/scenographer and director of theatre studies and interdisciplinary arts. A life-long theatre artist, Beiswenger has worked in professional theatres such as Contemporary American Theatre Festival, Mountain Playhouse and Peninsula Players. She is the associate artistic director for Theatre Z, a local theatre company.

Her other scholarly work is wide-ranging, including presentations on pedagogy at such conferences as United States Institute of Theatre Technology, Society for Applied Anthropology and Association of Academic Museum and Galleries. Beiswenger has also given talks for Green Bay Community Theatre, Green Bay Embroiderer's Guild and UW-Green Bay Lifelong Learning Institute.

Beiswenger has displayed her artwork in the Godschalx Gallery on the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 campus, and twice was accepted for the Neville Public Museum juried show. She was the recipient of the Bishop Robert F. Morneau Community Service Award, the Leonard Ledvina Outstanding Teacher Award and the Founder's Award.
