Kim Smith is an associate professor of communication and media studies, and she also serves as the associate director of the Center for Business and Economic Analysis (CBEA). Her research explores various facets of business communication, such as the ever-evolving organizational landscapes that regularly create communication challenges for employers and employees. She has worked with community business partners to identify unique possibilities for growth and development.
In addition to research, Smith is passionate about guiding students to establish meaningful connections between the study of communication and their personal and professional lives.
