All earth science majors with a geology concentration are required to attend a summer geology field camp, typically five to six weeks long, and usually taken between the junior and senior years of undergraduate study (transfers to ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ as ERTH 450). Attending field camp is an additional expense and must be taken through a university program approved by the earth science faculty. Senior Thesis (ERTH 496) and a second semester of Calculus and Analytic Geometry (MATH 132) are strongly recommended for those students who plan to attend graduate school.
